Evondarell

This dragon is one of the main character of my first book. He is a Desert dragon of the "Brown Nose" lineage, he is one of the last dragons existing on Vaelys.

When I began writing the encounter between Willow and Evondarell, I had no idea how he would be. I couldn't continue to write, I was stuck. So I left my book on the side and started sculpting him, still not knowing his appearance. I tried many things, going back and forth on some details. Finally, after 3 month running in circle, I finished him. I'm really happy with him, he even helped me to add some details in my book.

Evondarell is quite big, he is 10 inches tall and 15 inches width. He is a OOAk (One Of A Kind) made from polymer clay (a blend of super sculpey and sculpey firm) and epoxy over a wire and foil armature and painted in acrylics. I used wired mesh for the wings, the base is made of wood and he has resin eyes.
